From the 27th till the 29th november 2009 the traditional commemorative event will take place at the occasion of the 204th anniversary of the battle of the three emperors. The event is organized within the Project Austerlitz by the town of Slavkov u Brna, communes of Tvarozna and Prace and C.E.N.S., with financial support of the South-moravian Region, under the auspices of the governor of the South-moravian Ragion, Mr. Michal Hasek.

SLAVKOV, TVAROZNA AND THE AUSTERLITZ BATTLEFIELD

About 800 re-enactors will participate at the event of Austerlitz 2009 coming from many european countries, 350 of them in the uniforms of France and Napoleon's allies, and 450 in uniforms of the powers of the 3rd coalition, 40 horses, 15 cannons.

The scenario of the battle will be inspired by the fights around Telnitz.

Saturday 28th november
 
9:00 Austerlitz - solemn line-up and formation of the troops
09:30 - 12:00 Austerlitz - maneuvres in the castle park
14:00 - 15:30 Tvarozna - battle re-enactment
19:00 - 20:00 Austerlitz - defilé of the troops and fireworks

11:00 - 19:00 Austerlitz (castle) - visits of the castle with guides in costumes
09:00 - 17:00 Austerlitz (castle) - exhibition of paintings with napoleonic theme, christmas exhibition
09:00 - 18:30 Austerlitz (castle park) - christmas market of old crafts
09:00 - 21:00 Austerlitz (Husova street, square) - historical market

Sunday 29th november

7:30 - 8:00    Zuran - welcome of the Sun of Austerlitz 
9:00 Austerlitz - solemn line-up
10:30 - 11:00 Peace monument - act of piety

Program changes reserved.

The entrance is free for the battle re-enactment and other outside program, except for the VIP tribune;
you may pruchase your ticket to the tribune with Tickestream.
