On Saturday December 3rd from 12.30 to14:30 CT24 (Czech Television 24) is going to broadcast the re-enactment of the Battle of Austerlitz organized on the occasion of the bicentennial of this event. There will be ca. 4000 uniformed participants of military history associations. About 30.000 visitors are expected to watch the event. The live transmission will be completed with 3D animated maps illustrating the key moments of the battle.
The events on the battlefield at Tvarozna are going to be commented from the CT studio in Brno by Jakub Zelezny and his guests historian Jiri Pernes and military history experts Jan Cepicka and Karel Reznicek.
This year’s re-enactment of the battle of Austerlitz is going to take place on the much larger area than in the past years. The re-enactment is a part of the extensive program of the commemorative event of the largest Napoleonic battle on the area of Czech lands.
