To the organising Committee Austerlitz 2005.
May I , on behalf of all of the groups who registered through the
European Napoleonic Society for the bicentenary event , express our
most sincere thanks to the organisers for a job well done.
The feedback that I have received from our participating members has
been nothing but positive, and my thanks go out to all of these people
for making the journey.
I would especially thank those registering groups who were not formerly
on the ENS list who made a special point to speak to me on Sunday and
express their thanks, having had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
We would all like to express particular thanks to Miroslav Jandora for
working so hard over many years to secure sponsorship and local support
for the event., also to Jakub Samek and Ondrej Tupy for undertaking the
mammoth task of co-ordinating the groups , the logistics, and
grass-roots organisation - never an easy task !
