We thank to representatives of the Southern Moravian Government, all the sponsors, dear guests, members of the military historical clubs, administrative production crew and all the visitors.
All the main points of the program e.g. the conference of Austerlitz, piety acts, the battle reconstruction have reached their objectives. From the VIPs who have visited them must be mentioned the ambassador of the French republic Mr. de Zorzi, the consul of the Russian federation in Brno Mr. Sibelev, vice-mayor of Waterloo Mr. vander Cruysen and many others.
The organizers would like to express their exclusive thanks to Mr. Oleg Sokolov, the great Russian historian and French division general par excellence who took part not only in the colloquium but also in the re-enactment events. We mustn't forget also the other colloquists whose discourses were kindly accepted by the audience and brought new views on the great events related not only to the 1805 campaign.
Re-enactors enthusiastic for the history who came from around the Europe to commemorate the battle of Austerlitz truly portrayed all three armies. They created that exclusive atmosphere of the past weekend.
Austerlitz 2003 is over, let us invite you already now for the 2004 event which is going to be the grand rehearsal for the bicentennial.
