The C.E.N.S. board 2012

New units were voted members of the society, these are: k.k. H.R. 11 (Lukáš Barfajt) and k.k. H.R. 12 (Andrej Macášek); the 2.e Régiment de tirailleurs (Michal Klečka) expressed the desire to join the society and the vote will take place in january 2013.

– Mr. Frantisek Kopecky, former mayor of the village of Tvarozna (Bosenitz) informed us about the creation of a new association of the town of Slavkov (Austerlitz) with the villages of Tvarozna and Prace (Pratzen). It’s aim is the coordination and support to the activities related to the battle and the battlefield.

  •     12th-13th may, Napoleonic festivities in Velky Tynec, organized by the Garde Impériale d’Austerlitz, Pavel Grenar
  •     16th-20th may, Montmirail
  •     19th-20th may, event “Czech Silesia” in Kyjovice (and two other villages) organized by KVH Ostrava
  •     23rd-24th june, three events announced for this weekend; Bratislava, Bard and Kaunas
  •     Znaim-Dobšice 2012, event planned for the 7th-8th july
  •     10th-12th august, Napoleonic Days in Austerlitz, the 243rd anniversary of Napoleon Bonaparte
  •     – a probable date for the bicentenary of Borodino (La Moskowa) is 30th august – 2nd september
  •     7th-9th september, shooting in Hamiltony (guard marines)
  •     15th-16th september, Journées de Patrimoine in France, an event in preparation for Rueil Malmaison
  •     21st-23rd september, Forchtenstein (Wolfgang Horak)
  •     – the 199th anniversary of Leipzig takes place from the 19th till the 21st october this year
  •     Austerlitz 2012 takes place from the 30th till the 2nd december

In the morning the commanders of the french units of the society have decided to abolish the function of commander in chief of the “french army of the C.E.N.S.”, held untill now by Ivan Vystrcil. You may still contact Jakub Samek, C.E.N.S. president, who continues the service of general coordination of the french groups.
