Spring festival 2011In France the moravian wines find their fans even among the experts, this year the champion is a bio-wine! The 8th year of the Spring festival has been held in Paris on the 23rd march 2011. An event organized by the Association of sommeliers of the Czech republic and the Project Austerlitz with the financial support of the wine fund of the Czech republic, in collaboration with the french Académie du vin and Association of sommeliers de France and the Moravian Bank of Wines. The event will be held under the auspices of the permanent representive of the Czech republic to the OECD, Mr. Karel Dyba. ![]() A presenation of the wines followed in the central of the OECD in Paris, where the wines were degusted by the reprentatives of the diplomatic corps of this organization. General secretary of the OIV, Mr. Yann Juban, was member of the jury presided by Mr. Jean Michel Deluc, director of the Académie du vin. The members of the jury were : Jean Michel Deluc Master Sommelier Catherine Angelasto Sommelier and Conference Master Antoine Petrus Sommelier, best young sommelier of France Maryse Sargis journalist, Gault & Millau Magazine and 60 Millions de Consommateur Yann Juban - general secretary of the OIV Martin Pastyřík president of the Assiciation of sommeliers of the Czech republic Ivo Dvořák vicepresident of the Assiciation of sommeliers of the Czech republic Libor Nazarčuk vicepresident of the Assiciation of sommeliers of the Czech republic 67 wines from 15 producers were chosed for the competition. The wines will automatically be nominated to the international wine exhibition Grand Prix Austerlitz that will take place on the 13th august 2011 in Slavkov u Brna (Austerlitz) as part of the program of the Napoleonic Days.
