More than 200 soldiers in historic uniforms will break their tent camp in the eastern part of the village on the bank of the local pond. Throughout the weekend they will perform exercises, period camp life, marches and combat actions. On Saturday afternoon the field under the Santon, the traditional place of winter commemorative events, will see the battle exhibition. Commentary for the present spectators will be provided by Jiri Kovarik, one of the most-renowned expert on Napoleonic Wars in Czechia.<\/div>\n

\nLast year, the event was ensembled by the fireworks show by Teatrum Pyroboli and the music formation Dama-Dama who performed the premiere of the multimedia and the “Symphony of Austerlitz”, also presented with success during the Austerlitz bicentennial. This year’s pro-gram will be combined with the great concert of top folk & country bands concert on Saturday from morning until late evening hours. On the occasion of the 237th anniversary of Emperor Napoleon’s birthday, Project Austerlitz organizes the traditional re-enactment event.
