{"id":175,"date":"2008-12-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-12-25T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.austerlitz.org\/en\/2008\/03\/26\/czech-and-moravian-wines-and-project-austerlitz-presented-in-paris\/"},"modified":"2017-12-12T13:14:59","modified_gmt":"2017-12-12T12:14:59","slug":"czech-and-moravian-wines-and-project-austerlitz-presented-in-paris","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.austerlitz.org\/en\/czech-and-moravian-wines-and-project-austerlitz-presented-in-paris\/","title":{"rendered":"Czech and Moravian wines and Project Austerlitz presented in Paris"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Czech Cultural Center in Paris in collaboration with the Project Austerlitz and society Davay Communications, Association of sommeliers of the Czech republic and Moravian bank of wines, under the auspices of the ambassador of the Czech republic in France, Mr. Pavel Fischer, 1st vicepresident of the South moravian region, Mr. Milan Venclik, and Viticultural fund of the Czech republic, organized the 5th year of &#8220;Festival of spring&#8221;, a competion of moravian and czech wines.<\/p>\n<p>The jury judging about 40 best moravian and czech wines in 5 cathegories was formed by: Mr. Martin Pastyrik, president of the Association of sommeliers of the Czech republic, Mr. Libor Nazarcuk, vicepresident for Moravia, Mr. Zlatko Micka, member of board of the Association, representing the czech sommeliers; and, for the french side, Mr. Jean-Michel Deluc, president of the Academy of Wine (Acad\u00e9mie du Vin) and chief sommelier of Chateauonline, the biggest internet wine shop in Europe &#8211; president of the Jury; Mr. Dominique Laporte, Best sommelier of France, Mr. Jean-Luc Jamrozik, president of the Sommeliers of Paris, Mr. Tony Moinnereau, general secretary of the Association of sommeliers of Paris, and Mr. Antoin P\u00e9trus, Best young sommelier of France and chief sommelier of the hotel Crillon.<\/p>\n<p>The competition has been visited by Mr. Yann Juban, associate director of the OIV (Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin), impressed by the quality of the wines; Mr. Juban was accompanied by Mrs. Helena Cizkova, 1st secretary of the Permanent Delegation of the Czech Republic to the OECD, and Mrs. Simona Hrabetova from the czech Ministry of agriculture; and Mr. Karel Dyba, ambassador of the Czech republic to the OECD, accompanied by Mr. Miroslav Singer, vice-governon of the Czech national bank.<\/p>\n<p>The president of the Jury, Mr. Jean-Michel Deluc, said: &#8220;this confrontation of the czech and moravian wines supports the propagation of their production, not really known in France. During the 5 years of this competition, we could see a great job of your wine-makers.&#8221; Even the other members of the Jury were stasified with the growing quality of wines, most remarkable in the cathegory of the red wines this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\nT<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">he winners of the 5th edition:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sparkling wines: Gold Cuv\u00e9e, sekt brut, year 2000, Andre-H\u0159\u00edbalov\u00e1<\/p>\n<p>White wines: Ryzlink r\u00fdnsk\u00fd, late harvest, year 2007, V\u00edno Hort<\/p>\n<p>Ros\u00e9: Cabernet Sauvignon, late harvest, year 2007, V\u00edno Hort<\/p>\n<p>Red wines: Dornfelder, late harvest, year 2007, Jedli\u010dka&amp;Nov\u00e1k<\/p>\n<p>Sweet wines: Ryzlink r\u00fdnsk\u00fd, strawy wine, year 2004, Vina\u0159stv\u00ed Dr\u00e1pal<\/p>\n<p>Absolute winner: Ryzlink r\u00fdnsk\u00fd, strawy wine, year 2004, Vina\u0159stv\u00ed Dr\u00e1pal<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.austerlitz.org\/images\/svatkyjara2008\/IMG_2019.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal\">Tony Moinnereau, Jean Michel Deluc, Jitka de Pr\u00e9val, Martin Pastyrik, Zlatko Micka, Dominique Laporte, Antoane Petrus,<br \/>\nLibor Nazarcuk, Jakub Samek<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">The announcement of winners of the competition was followed by a presentation of the south moravian region and of the furutre activities of the Project Austerlitz, mainly of the projects of commemorative events being actually prepared for 2009, bicentenary of the 1809 war between Austria and France, with the last battle, Znaim.<\/p>\n<p>On the 19 march 2008, an evening rendezvous organized by Mr. Karel Dyba, ambassador of the Czech republic to the OECD, took place in the central office of the OECD, rue Andr\u00e9 Pascal, Paris. In the presence of secretary-general of the OECD, Mr. Angel Gurr\u00eda, the visitors, in the first place ambassadors to the OECD, had the opportunuty to taste the czech and moravian wines and ask questions about the czech and moravian viticulture, answered by Mr. Martin Partyrik and Libor Nazarcuk, eminent czech sommeliers. Mr. Gurr\u00eda appreciated the event and the wines and accepted the invitation to the Austerlitz commemorative event.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the 18th march, the 5th year of &#8220;Festival of spring&#8221;, czech and moravian wine competition, was held in Paris in the Czech cultural center, together with a presentation of activities of the Project Austerliz.
