{"id":54,"date":"2003-04-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2003-04-29T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.austerlitz.org\/en\/2003\/04\/29\/central-european-napoleonic-society-c-e-n-s-established\/"},"modified":"2003-04-29T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2003-04-29T00:00:00","slug":"central-european-napoleonic-society-c-e-n-s-established","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.austerlitz.org\/en\/central-european-napoleonic-society-c-e-n-s-established\/","title":{"rendered":"Central European Napoleonic Society (C.E.N.S.) established"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><BR><BR><\/p>\n<div class=\"uvod\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><font size=\"2\">On January 18<sup>th<\/sup> 2003, at the Municipal Office in Tvaro\u017en\u00e1, representatives of military history clubs from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria joined in the C.E.N.S. preparatory committee established a non-profit, multinational organization, the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Central European Napoleonic Society<\/span>. This organization supports the values of the modern European re-enactment, and will follow up on basic values in the area of training, gear, and weaponry developed and currently represented by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">European Napoleonic Society <\/span>(E.N.S.). A large majority of founding members have belonged to E.N.S., or else they currently cooperate with it or have done so in the past. C.E.N.S. is ready to accept other military history clubs which would respect its rules and are sincerely interested in joining. C.E.N.S. currently brings together over 500 uniformed soldiers, who are organized in three basic military structures. The French are represented by the newly established by a demi-brigade, and the Allies are represented by the &#8216;k. k. Italienarmee&#8217; and the &#8216;Allierte Brigade&#8217;. The statutes were adopted, and the management was appointed. Ivan Vystr\u010dil, the vice-president of the Project Austerlitz 2005, was elected the first president of C.E.N.S. Other committee members are Petr L\u00e1zni\u010dka, Kamil Mad\u011bra, Ond\u0159ej Tup\u00fd, and Romain Baulesch. The new Society is one of the largest of its kind in Europe. We are pleased that the Project Austerlitz 2005 has acquired a solid, stable partner in this institution.
