The commemoration of events of 1806, the battle of Pultusk (December 26th 1806) and the arrival of the French army to Warsaw (November 28th 1806)

On behalf of the organizers – the Russian Foundation Empire of History, Project Austerlitz represented by Davay Communications Ltd. and the Masovia Center of Culture and Art who signed the mutual agreement on March 29th 2006 – we cordially invite your group to participate in the Pultusk 2006 event.

The event will start on Thursday July 6th with the arrival of participants to Pultusk and the construction of camps. On Friday both armies will be formed on the battlefield at Pultusk followed by the day-long maneuvers.

On Saturday the event participants will move to Warsaw. A part of the event is going to be the exhibition of rich Napoleonic collections of the Foundation Empire of History in the premises of the Great Theatre. A certain number of participants will take part in the exhibition vernissage.  The program will continue with the defile through the Warsaw historic city center finished with the ceremony of welcoming of the French army by the city officials on the Royal palace square. On the Old and the New Square there will be a treatment prepared for soldiers. During the spare time, participants will be able to visit the Napoleonic exhibition.

On Sunday the authentic battlefield of December 1806 will see the battle after the scenario inspired by the course of real combats including sound and pyrotechnic effects. Following will be the festive defile in front of the spectators and the final parade. For the invited guests – generals, senior officers and groups commanders – an exceptional experience will be prepared for the Sunday evening.
