210th anniversary of the battle of Znaim – Mark Schneider aka Napoleon
Mark Schneider re-enacts Napoleon during the biggest commemorative events of Napoleonic re-enactment since 2005. He will also be attending the 210th anniversary of the Battle of Znaim. We bring an interview with him, not only about his role of Napoleon.
Znaim/Znojmo 1809 – a unique exhibition marks the 210th anniversary
The South Moravian Museum in Znojmo, on the occasion of the 210th anniversary of the Battle of Znaim (10th-11th July 1809), the last decisive victory of Emperor Napoleon and the last battle of Archduke Charles's military career, offers a unique exhibition.
The commemorative event dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the battle of Znaim with about 400 napoleonic re-enactors will take place in Znojmo and Únanov, 10th-14th July 2019.
The commemorative event dedicated to the 209th anniversary of the battle of Znaim with about 200 napoleonic re-enactors will take place from the 6th till the 8th july 2018. The program comprises camp life of the armies, exercice and maneuvers, a battle re-enactment, or a series of lectures on history of the war of 1809.

The town of Mikulov, commune of Drasenhofen, Project Austerlitz and Central European Napoleonic Society organize, from 14th to 16th may, a commemorative event at the occasion of the 201st anniversary of the 1809 campaign.
Mikulov – Drasenhofen 2009
From the 22nd till the 24th may 2009 a commemorative event Mikulov-Drasenhofen 2009 was held at the occasion of the bicentenary of the war of 1809, war between Austria and France, that had been interrupted by the armistice at Znaim on the 11th july 1809, and ended by the Schönbrunn peace treaty on the 14th october 1809. The event was co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. It’s been also a sort of invitation for the bicentenary of the battle of Znaim that will take place from the 10th till the 12th july 2009 in Znojmo and in Dobsice.
The Project Austerlitz, Central European Napoleonic Society, the town of Znaim and the commune of Dobsice have prepared a commemorative event at the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the battle of Znaim for the 10th - 12th july 2009. The event is held under the auspices of the governor of the South moravian region, Mr. Michal Hasek.

2009 is the year of the bicentenaries of the events of 1809, the war of the 5th coalition, the battles of Raszyn, Sacile, Eggmühl, Aspern, siege of Presbourg (today Bratislava), the general battle of Wagram and the last battle of Znaim.
199th anniversary of the battle of Znaim
The Project Austerlitz, Central European Napoleonic Society, town of Znojmo (Znaim) and commune of Dobsice (Klein Teswitz), in co-operation with the South-Moravian Region organize the commemorative event of the 199th anniversary of the battle of Znaim, 11-13 july 2008, under the auspices of the 1st vice-governor of the region, Mr. Milan Venclik.
